On Tuesday 7th April, Pi Consult made an important delivery to the Intensive Care Unit at nearby Darent Valley Hospital in Kent.

Due to the protective surgical gloves requirement for staff, as part of Coronavirus PPE measures, it has been difficult for them to use their smart devices to view and record data. This is because the gloves restrict the touch screen capability, and with a lack of available touchscreen stylus pens, the ICU teams have been struggling to make efficient use of them.

Originally intended as corporate marketing gifts for our clients, we had some branded stylus pens at Pi Consult which we thought would be of far greater value if donated to our local hospital to help this problem.

Only a small donation, but we hope it will make a helpful difference to the very brave NHS staff who are doing a fantastic job during this pandemic.
