Working with Network rail to provide mechanical, electrical and customer information services to the stations new glass frontage and local staff offices and booking areas was a satisfying task when considering the scope to meet the growing customer demand. The completion of the project offered the staff a new quality of environment including heating, cooling & ventilation along with staff protection measures. The customer experience is increased by a large percentage of daylighting complimenting a fresh lighting scheme, Customer Information Screen and gate line design.
